Os Firstborn Evil eram a minha banda de Black Metal, entre 1995 & 1998, onde fui baixista antes de formar os Antiquus Scriptum, e a banda, já sem mim, dar origem aos The Firstborn, mais tarde... Este Opus reúne todo o material que foi gravado comigo, desde a demo de 1996, 'The Awakening Of Evil', à promo track para a compilação da Shiver Records, 'Sometimes... Death Is Better', 'Throne Of The Serpent', de 1997, e 2 ensaios de 96 e 97, que consistem em duas maquetes que gravamos com temas do 1º álbum, 'The Rebirth Of Evil' e do 2º trabalho, 'From The Past Yet To Come', que seriam gravados mais tarde nos estúdios Rec'n' Roll, para a Guardians Of Metal, já sem mim no baixo...

Como a editora não gosta que eu divulgue samples antes do lançamento, e antes de ter fotos do mesmo, fiquem com a versão Full Album, do Yoube, cordialmente divulgado pela MetalPortuguês TV. As cassetes custarão 5€ e terão a qualidade dos prévios lançamentos que tive pela Depressive Illusions ;)

The prestigious Ukrainian label, Depressive Illusions Records, which belongs to the grand Sergiy Fjordsson, Moloch (Ukr), will soon launch the entire discography of Antiquus Scriptum on pro tape, including already the new album 'Imaginarium', as well, and a special edition on tape format also of the split with Draugûl (Swe), that is about to be released in CD by the German Wolfmond Production. Will be 7 tapes, therefore, all converging its original artwork, with the exception of the new album 'Imaginarium', which shall come out with alternative art.

Bebi umas fresquinhas com eles no Cais Sodré, ontem, e além de rever e pôr a conversa em dia com estes 2 velhos guerreiros do Black Metal nacional, ainda pude trazer esta obra de arte, editada por eles, em 2 cassetes lindíssimas, como podem ver, que são limitadas a 100 cópias (de cada). (Part I & II), of Antiquus Scriptum, is finally out there through the Lusitanian Satanhades Productions, or were not this Portuguese seal dating from the middle of the glorious 90's and managed by the 2 Guardians of the Graal, Paulo Mira & Carlos Fernandes (ex-Celtic Dance), Arkenstone, whom walk this path for more than 20 Winters, always with full commitment and an undoubted dedication! I drank a few beers with them in Cais Sodré, Lisbon, yesterday, and besides review them and put the conversation in day with these 2 old warriors of the Lusitanian Black Metal, I even could bring this pieces of art, release by them, in 2 gorgeous tapes, as you can see, that are limited to 100 copies (each). The Tapes are ultra professional, stamped, tape Chrome Dioxide II, printed in Edisco, Porto, and cost 10€ both (5€ each) + shipping. ***!!This article is only sold together!!*** 

This double compilation, is a retrospective of the first 18 years (!) of the existence of Antiquus Scriptum, bringing together the best (original) themes of the project and including 5 unreleased songs recorded recently. A edição terá novo artwork, como podem ver nas fotos e não tem número de tiragem específico, indo a editora fazendo prints deste trabalho conforme possa... O lançamento está marcado para muito breve, 1 mês, mais ou menos e terá um preço acessível ;) 

A Craneal Fracture Records é uma editora mais virada para a Experimental Music e Noise, Ambiental e Raw Black Metal e escolheu reeditar estes trabalhos precisamente pela crueza e agressividade destes registos... The 1st album of Antiquus Scriptum, "Abi In Malam Pestem", of 2002, + 1st studio demo, "In Pulverem Reverteris", of 2000, shall be reissued on tape format by the Iberian label, Cranial Fracture Records, very soon! The edition will have new artwork, as you can see in the pictures and has no specific number of drawing, going to the publisher making prints of this work as they can... The launch is scheduled for very soon, one month or so and shall have an affordable price ;)

Cranial Fracture Records is a more forward label for Experimental Music and Noise, Ambiental and Raw Black Metal and chose to republish this works precisely by the crudity and aggressiveness of these records... The demo "In Pulverem Reverteris", of 2000, and the album "Abi in Malam Pestem", of 2002, are and will always be very important works for me personally and were recorded in a very troubled and delicate time of my life, only being possible to record them due to the generosity and friendship of my old friend Paulo Vieira (Paulão), which made possible the recording of these works, at the time... Esta sairá durante o corrente anno (ainda não há data certa) e será limitada a 100 cópias. Relembro que este split de Antiquus Scriptum & Astarium será na sua globalidade um trabalho de música Ambient / Neoclassical / Folk, com o intuito de dar a conhecer melhor a vertente ambiental destes 2 projectos, (habitualmente) influenciados pelo Symphonic Black Metal.

Split with Astrarium also on tape version!!

I come here today to announce that the split with the Russians Astarium, "Hymns To The Ancient Northland", that shall be release in March by the also Russian NitroAtmosfericum Records, limited to 300 copies in Pro CDr, will come out in Pro Tape version as well through the highly prestigious (in matter of k7 editions), Werewolf Promotion, from the cold and beautiful Poland. This tape version shall be in the most professional issue, or were not Werewolf known for the simply brutal editions on cassette at all levels!! This release shall be out during the current year (there is still no exact date) and is limited to 100 copies. I recall that this split of Antiquus Scriptum & Astarium is in its entirety a work of Ambient / Neoclassical / Folk music, in order to promote better the ambiental aspects of these 2 projects, (usually) influenced by the Symphonic Black Metal.

Saudações Feiticeiros das Neves! É com muito gosto que vos venho anunciar que o Best Of / Compilação de Antiquus Scriptum que incluirá já temas novos nunca antes editados, "... Outrora, Quando As Águas Choravam...", a ser lançado em Duplo CD em Janeiro de 2016 pela editora alemã Pesttanz Klangschmiede, em colaboração com a espanhola Negra Nit distro e limitado a 666 cópias, terá também edição tape através da nacional Satanhades Productions. Será uma Pro Tape Dupla limitada a 100 exemplares (de cada) e ainda não há mês concreto de edição previsto para este lançamento, mas a editora garante que será logo que possível durante o vindouro anno de 2016. Quero naturalmente agradecer ao Paulo Mira e ao Carlos Fernandes da Satanhades pela colaboração e a todos aqueles que adquirirem esta dupla cassete! Só para os verdadeiros maníacos das tapes!! Greetings Snow Wizards! It's with great pleasure that I come to announce that the Best Of / Compilation of Antiquus Scriptum that shall already include new themes never released before, "... Outrora, Quando As Águas Choravam..." (... Once, When Waters Wept...), to be released on double CD in January 2016 by the German label Pesttanz Klangschmiede, in collaboration with the Spanish Negra Nit Distro and limited to 666 copies, will also have a tape edition through the Portuguese Satanhades Productions. It will be a Pro Double Tape limited to 100 copies (of each) and there's still no concrete month foreseen for the edition for this release, but the label ensures that it shall be as soon as possible during the forthcoming year of 2016. I naturally thank to Paulo Mira and Carlos Fernandes of Satanhades for the collaboration and to all those whom purchase this double cassette! Only for trve fucking maniacs of tapes!!
