The reissue of the 1st album of Antiquus Scriptum, "Abi In Malam Pestem", originally recorded and released in 2002, shall be out in late July by the German Wolfmond Production in an limited edition of 100 copies in Pro-CDr. The work will include as bonus the 1st studio demo, "In Pulverem Reverteris", of 2000, as well. I recall that Wolfmond shall re-release the whole discography of 5 (!) Albums of Antiquus Scriptum, all with new artwork, during the 2nd half of 2016, following the original release order and starting with this vehement and reckless 1st full-length of the project... Relembro que é a 1ª vez esta 1ª demo de estúdio de Antiquus Scriptum, originária de 2000, é lançada (sozinha) em CD, numa tiragem inicial de 300 cópias, mas que será repetida mais vezes. Vou ver se consigo convencer o Robert da Elegy Records a ver se este Promo CD não é vendido a mais de 6€, para que o maior número de pessoas possível possa adquirir este 1º assalto do projecto, que é sem dúvida muito especial para mim... :3 Só para manter a malta informada, bom Sábado a todos! I remind ye that it is the 1st time this 1st studio demo of Antiquus Scriptum, original from 2000, is released (alone) on CD format, with an initial print run of 300 copies, but that shall be repeated more often. I'll see if I can convince Robert of Elegy Records to see if this Promo CD is not sold for more than 6€, so as many people as possible can acquire this 1st assault of the project, which without any doubt is very special for me... :3 Just to keep you folks informed, good Saturday, everyone! Saudações do Éden! A 1ª demo de Antiquus Scriptum, "In Pulverem Reverteris", originalmente gravada e lançada no anno 2000, será reeditada em finais do mês de Abril em formato Promo CD de cartão, tipo fold out sleeve, pela norte americana Elegy Records. Vão ser feitas várias tiragens e 300 cópias deste lançamento, que não tem propriamente um número limite de tiragem. Ainda não sei o preço que a editora pretende aplicar neste Promo, mas vou ver se é vendido por 5, 6€, no máximo, devido ao lançamento em questão. É a 1ª vez que esta demo é lançada sozinha em CD e o Promo será muito engraçado, pelo que sei... 2000 abraços para vocês e só espero que este post não desapareça também!...

Greetings from the Eden! The 1st demo of Antiquus Scriptum, "In Pulverem Reverteris", originally recorded and released in the year 2000 shall be reissued at the end of April in Promo Card CD format, fold out sleeve type, by the North American Elegy Records. There will be made several print runs of 300 copies of this release, which does not exactly have a drawing limit number. I do not know the price that the label intends to apply on this promo, but I will see if it is sold for 5, 6€, at most, due the release in question. It is the 1st time that this demo is released alone on CD and the Promo will be very nice, for what all I know... 2000 hugs to ye and I just hope this post doesn't disappear too!... The CD version of the Split between Antiquus Scriptum and the Russians Astarium, "Hymns To The Ancient Northland", to be released by the also Russian NitroAtmosfericum Records, is already at the factory and will see the light of day with the entry of March. I remember that this split is entirely ambiental and aims to raise awareness of the Ambient / Neoclassical / Folk veins of both projects, which usually are influenced by Pagan and Symphonic Black Metal... Outrora, Quando As Águas Choravam...", lançado em comunhão pela espanhola Negra Nit distro e a alemã Pesttanz Klangschmiede. Relembro que este trabalho é um CD / Compilação que é lançado em jeito de comemoração dos já longos 18 annos de carreira de Antiquus Sriptum e inclui os melhores temas do projecto desde a primeira demo de 2000, "In Pulverem Reverteris", até ao último álbum de originais, o "Ars Longa, Vita Brevis...", de 2013, contando com 5 (!) malhas novas, gravadas propositadamente para este Duplo CD. O disco custa 15€ + 1€ de portes (nacionais) e quem tiver interesse neste trabalho, pode enviar mensagem privada para mim directamente, ou para a caixa de entrada do FB de Antiquus Scriptum, ou ainda escrever para: antiquus_scriptum@yahoo.com.

I remind ye that this work is a CD / Compilation released in celebration way of the already long 18 years of Antiquus Sriptum career and includes the best themes of the project since the first demo of 2000, "In Pulverem Reverteris", until the last original album, the "Ars Longa, Vita Brevis..." from 2013, with 5 (!) new tracks, purposely recorded for this double CD. É um novo tema interlúdio, totalmente composto em cravo e agora finalizado pelo meu amigo Ricardo Vieira (R.V.), e produzido pelo seu irmão e meu velho amigo também, Paulo Vieira (Nyx Sludgedweller), produtor e habitual músico convidado em Antiquus Scriptum, a que baptizei de "Zagallos, Jardim De Falácias (Antifona Moderata ; Movimento II)". O jardim dos Zagallos existe na realidade e fica algures aqui na margem sul, sendo este um dos meus santuários de meditação e onde já passei e passo muito bons momentos de reflexão. É um solar pós-renascentista e a sua construção remonta ao século XVIII, sendo mandado construir em honra do rei D. João VI. É um jardim de uma beleza imensa, onde já tive experiências de amor, ódio, calma, paz, revolta e dor e até mesmo onde um amigo meu já pôs termo à sua vida enforcando-se numa das centenárias árvores deste jardim... Greetings from the Garden of Fallacies! This theme will certainly not be new to some, at least for the ones closest to the project, but will certainly be new to many not so familiar to the Antiquus Scriptum's appeals... It's a new interlude theme, composed entirely in harpsichord and now finished by my friend Ricardo Vieira (R.V.), and produced by his brother and also my old friend, Paulo Vieira (Nyx Sludgedweller), producer and regular guest musician in Antiquus Scriptum, which I baptized of "Zagallos, Jardim De Falácias (Antifona Moderata ; Movimento II)" = "Zagallos, Garden Of Fallacies (Antifona Moderata ; Moviment II)". The Garden of Zagallos does really exists and is somewhere here on the south bank, which is one of my meditation shrines and where've been very good times and spend a lot of reflection. It is a post-Renaissance manor and its construction dates back to the XVIII century, and had built in honor of King D. João VI. It is a garden of an immense beauty where I had experiences of love, hate, calm, peace, anger and pain and even where a friend of mine has ended his life hanging himself in one of the ancient trees of this garden... To him and all of ye, here is this "Zagallos, Jardim De Falácias (Antifona Moderata ; Movimento II)", which shall figure for the 1st time on CD in the next release, "... Outrora, Quando As Águas Choravam..." (... Once, When Waters Wept...), to be unleashed in January 2016 by the German label Pesttanz Klangschmiede, in communion with the Spanish Negra Nit Distro and limited to 666 copies in a double professional CD. Antiquus Scriptum: DOUBLE CD in January!!

It is with great pleasure that I announce here that the German label, Pesttanz Klangschmiede, in partnership with the Spanish Negra Nit Distro, shall release in January 2016 a double CD of Antiquus Scriptum, which will be entitled: "... Outrora, Quando As Águas Choravam..." (...Once , When Waters Wept...). The double CD shall be a Best Of limited to 666 copies, including the best themes of the long career of Antiquus Scriptum, such as: "Bula Ad Extirpenda (Innocentio IVth, MCCLII - The Saint Office Of Inquisition Of Faith)", "Of Dying Seasons (The Cursed Ones)", "Procemium / A Viking Belief", "A Batalha De Al-Ashbounah (Ou Lixbona MCXLVII)", "O Adamastor", "A Hecatombe Of Slaves", "Remember Me As King", "Eu, O Misantropo...", "Primordium / The Skeptic Beholder", "Noah", "In The Kingdom Of Superstition", among others, and will already include the new themes that have been made so far and never released, such as: "Zagallos, Jardim De Falácias (Antifona Moderata ; Movimento II)", "Secretum Templi (Epicus Furor - Movimento III)", "Tertúlia Das Bruxas Dançantes (Adagio Allegro ; Movimento IV)", "O Outono Medieval (Equinócio Profundo ; Movimento V)", or, "The Cold Lips Of Isabelle (Conclusio Lugubris)". A versão deluxe digipack do 3º álbum de originais de Antiquus Scriptum estará disponível na 2ª semana de Abril pela alemã Pesttanz Klangschmiede, numa tiragem de 1.000 exemplares e com um grafismo de deixar qualquer um abismado de espanto!! The deluxe digipack version of the 3rd original Antiquus Scriptum's album shall be available on the 2nd week of April by the German Pesttanz Klangschmiede in a print run of 1.000 copies and a graphics to let anyone astonished amazed!! I call this way, not only the folks whom have acquired the remaining works in digipack also to purchase this CD as well, but all the labels, distros, music stores and individuals interested in trade this work to contact me in order proceed with a trade... Sai oficialmente em CD & Digipack amanhã, dia 10 de Dezembro, o álbum tributo de Antiquus Scriptum, "Recovering The Throne (Tribute Album)", pela editora alemã Pesttanz Klangschmiede, numa tiragem de 1.000 cópias em formato CD standard jewel case + 100 cópias de uma edição limitada em Deluxe Digipack. O CD custa 12€ e o Digi 15€, e os portes são de apenas 1€ (nacional) e 2€, para qualquer parte do globo. Antiquus Scriptum: "Recovering The Throne (Tribute Album)" out there!!

Greetings from the Crypt of Witchcraft! Shall be officially out on CD & Digipack tomorrow, December 10, the tribute album of Antiquus Scriptum, "Recovering The Throne (Tribute Album)", by the German label Pesttanz Klangschmiede, in a print run of 1.000 copies in standard jewel case CD format + 100 copies of a limited edition in Deluxe Digipack. The CD costs 12€ and the Digi 15€, and the shipping is only 1€ (Portugal) and 2€ for any part of the globe. I ask, please, to any individual staff, labels, distros, record stores, etc, interested in this CD, to give me a week, which is the CD time to get the CD's from Germany to me, thank you. I must thank Pesttanz by the magnificent 4 professional release of 1.000 copies, that launches Antiquus Scriptum, always with the same professionalism and commitment and leading the project and herself always foward, and always with a rhetoric very, very positive! Re-release of the ambiental / folk album canceled!

Greetings from the infernal abysm! Today I announce not for a good cause, but unfortunately to give bad news... The re-release of the ambiental / folk album of Antiquus Scriptum through the label from Hungary Rotten Crowz Productions was canceled. The Hungarian label decided to put a pause in their activity canceling all the scheduled releases, and this work is one of them... Anyway, it's not always jubilations taken the life of an underground artist and I shall have to start from scratch in finding a label for this work again... Let's see what the future holds...
